it’s safe to say that new york fashion week is one of my favorite times of the year. i will argue time and time again that fashion design is an integral component of fine art. i work with and know some of the most fashionable people in savannah and have had the pleasure of knowing women like angela and mimi, quite possibly two extraordinary beacons of glamour and style.
with that said, here are some of my favorite looks for fall 2011:

michael kors (the king of women’s sportswear. black and sequin jumpsuit. classic)
jason wu (insanely talented. beautiful sequin and beading detail. love the half sleeves)
chris benz (recently brought on as SCAD fashion mentor. incredible eye for details)
